Next Knowledge Wins International EdTech Venture Pitch

Canadian start-up selected from among five finalists

Napanee & Toronto, Ontario – Next Knowledge won an international competition today at the EdTech Venture Day organized by IE University and EAB. Following a presentation by CEO and Co-Founder, Stephen Straker, the jury selected Next Knowledge from among five finalists. 

“This is an incredibly exciting moment for Next Knowledge,” said Stephen Straker. “Our team has worked hard and these are early days for our venture — to receive this type of honour and validation at this stage of our development is incredibly gratifying.” 

The EdTech Venture Day is a virtual event aimed at innovative start-ups and SMEs that can provide solutions to create an effective educational environment, and reactivate education for all students and stakeholders in the

educational sector.  

Next Knowledge was one of five finalists chosen to present their solution to the general public and to the investment ecosystem. As the winning start-up, Next Knowledge will have the chance to pitch on IE’s stage during South Summit this October in Madrid, Spain. Next Knowledge will also participate in an acceleration program in order to springboard to the next round.
